Young Arts

The Isle of Man DFAS is pleased to announce that it has begun a programme of Young Arts.

Isle of Man DFAS Young Arts

As part of the National organisation’s aims and objectives, Isle of Man DFAS is doing more to encourage an interest in the arts by young people.

We welcome students and young people to our lectures without charge (subject to seat availability).

Church Trails

The development of local arts projects for children has been launched with our first Church Trail for 8 – 12 year olds. We would hope to add another in the near future.

Bursary

This year, with the help of the Department of Education, we have offered a Bursary to a school leaver who is going to study arts or an arts related subject. The standard of applications has been very high. We hope to make this an annual event.

Church Trails

Isle of man Church

Church Trails are aimed at children aged 8-12 years, but can be fun for the whole family.

The Church Trails consist of illustrated questionnaires that take you on a trail around a specific church on the Island.
