The Isle of Man Decorative and Fine Arts Society has an active membership from all over the island.
We hold ten lectures during the year covering a wide range of arts related topics and also organise guided tours and trips as well as events on the Isle of Man.

The Isle of Man branch of NADFAS was started in 1997 by an enthusiastic group who laid the foundation for a successful and popular local society. We are part of the National Association of Decorative and Fine Art Societies (NADFAS) which was founded in 1968 and now has over 330 societies and 90,000 members worldwide. As a member you will receive NADFAS Review, a national magazine printed quarterly and concessionary entry rates to some national heritage sites and museums.
Our annual programme runs from September to June, offering 10 lectures on a wide variety of arts related subjects. Lecturers are selected from the NADFAS directory of speakers and are chosen for their expertise and their ability to entertain and inform.
In addition to the monthly lectures we also run an active and enthusiastic Church Recorders Group, arrange overseas guided tours for our members and are in the process of developing educational projects for young people.
Lectures take place at the Manx Museum Lecture Theatre in Douglas, at 11.30 am on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.
Membership costs £45 per annum.
